As humans, we experience countless thought patterns that may be maladaptive or harmful to our core self, influencing our mood and emotional state. With support, we can learn to recognize and rewire these thought patterns to allow us to feel healthier about ourselves and the environment that surrounds us.
Mental health challenges that lead to anxiety, trauma, or depression, can become trapped inside the body and manifest in physical sensations. By developing an awareness of these sensations and engaging in body-centric strategies to release them, we can begin to heal, both mentally and physically.
Holistic therapy recognizes that we are more than the sum of our parts. By engaging in various healing methods such as breath-work, meditation, or movement, we can learn coping strategies for anxiety relief and trauma recovery. This allows us to strengthen the interconnection between our mind, body, and spirit, and thus ourselves as a whole.
